Jesus once told a story about a shepherd who left 99 sheep to search for one that was missing. He told us that story to show us how much God wants each and every one of us to be close to him. Read about it together in Luke 15:3-7 in the Bible.
Kindergarten-5th Grade Scoop
Kindergarten-2nd graders heard about a time Jesus brought his friend Lazarus back to life. You can read about it John 11:1-44. Third-5th graders heard a parable Jesus told to remind us to regularly share him with our friends. You can read about it in Matthew 13:1-23. See if your kids can tell you about the stories, too.
Soon, you’re going to see some wooden boxes with the word “Give” in Kids’ Club. Those are places for kids to be generous. We believe kids can follow Jesus right now, while they’re young, and being generous is one way to follow him.
