This week, elementary-aged kids talked about how the Church functions like a body. What does it mean to be a part of the body of Christ? (You can also read 1 Corinthians 12:12-31).

It’s the last week to talk about 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, which says, “Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.” See if you can memorize it as a family. Make up some hand motions for all the words, sing it as a song or write it down and hang it up.

Tell somebody else in your family one of the gifts God gave them. Let’s help each other follow Jesus exactly the way he made us.
