You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Psalm 139:3
Take it outside! As a family, go for a walk. Imagine that God is walking with you (he really is!). Begin your “prayer walk” with this: God, thank you for joining us on our walk…” Keep the conversation open! Look for things you want to thank God for or ask him about. Point out the things you see, hear or are experiencing that catch your attention—nature, neighbors, anything! For example, “God, thank you for bluebirds. They are beautiful!” “God, why did you make trees?” “God, thanks for our neighbors. Help them to know you.”
Prayer Dare: Do this no matter the weather. Bundle up, take rain jackets, wear sunscreen or whatever you need! Be adventurous and have fun talking to God on your family walk.
Double-dog Dare: Do the above activity and pray, as a family, for someone you encounter along the way.
