Once a young boy named David defeated a giant who was over nine feet tall. He fought Goliath when everybody else was too scared. This is the story of what happened when David agreed to take on Goliath (1 Samuel 17). And the way David rescued the Israelites gives us a sneak preview of the way God would send another young rescuer to free us all. We know that parts of God’s Story are hard to understand–or even agree with. The important thing to remember is that God loves all of us absolutely, no matter what we think or do.
