Read Judges 6, and find out how God showed Gideon that he’s always in control. Why did Gideon doubt God at first? What miracles did God do to show his power?

Gideon thought he was too weak to lead an army, but with God’s help, he led them to victory. What’s something hard you’ve had to face? What’s something that you can’t do on your own? Ask God to help you with it right now.

Kids got a special prayer poster this week, to give them some ideas of how to pray with their family. One suggestion is to imagine God is sitting with you right now. What could you tell him about your day? What could you ask him for help with? Invite him into your conversation, just like you would talk to a friend!
