Kids in preschool through second grade learned about how Jesus healed 10 lepers, while third through fifth graders heard about the prophets of the Old Testament. In both of these stories, God shows us that our rescuer, Jesus, deserves our thanks. Try memorizing this verse to help you remember why we thank Jesus: Psalm 107:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
2
What are you most thankful for this thanksgiving? As a family, make a list or draw a picture of all the things you want to thank God for this year. Then add something new to it each day!
3
The prophets were people who heard from God, and then shared it with others. One of those prophets was named Daniel; check out the Book of Daniel in the Bible, and then watch this music video about how he followed God.

In Luke 17:11-19, Jesus heals 10 lepers, but only one returns to thank him. Read this story in the Bible, and then try to think of how you could thank Jesus more this week. You could write a thank you letter to him, or maybe just spend a little extra time talking to him today.
5
Thank Jesus by worshipping him! Sing this song about how God is always good, no matter how hard life gets.
