Next week is the beginning of Crossroads’ annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Every year, we collect food––lots of food––for our partners locally and in South Africa so that they can bless those in need. You can pick up a box in the atrium to fill as a family.
Here are a few ideas of ways to talk to your kids about giving to others:
- Share a time you needed something and God gave it to you.
- Read Matthew 6:33 in the Bible: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” What are some ways we can seek––or run after––the kingdom of God?
- Why do you think God wants us to help others?
