Next weekend, you’ll find them in the Kids’ Club hallways. They provide a place for kids to be generous, because we believe kids can follow Jesus right now, while they’re young. Today, we talked about when Jesus walked on water! That’s because Jesus can do anything. Ask your kid to tell you about it. Or read the story together in John 6:16-24 in the Bible.
Kindergarten-5th Grade Scoop
Kindergarten-2nd graders heard about how we can give even if we don’t have much money. You can read about how Jesus responded to a poor woman’s generosity in Luke 21:1-4 in the Bible. Third-5th graders heard a parable in which Jesus taught us the importance of humility. You can read the story in Luke 18:9-14. For either age group, ask your kids what they think we can learn about Jesus from the story.
