Day 1:
Zechariah 9:9 says, “City of Zion, be full of joy! People of Jerusalem, shout! See, your king comes to you. He always does what is right. He has the power to save. He is gentle and riding on a donkey. He is sitting on a donkey’s colt.”
What kind of a king is Jesus?
Day 2:
Hundreds of years before Jesus was even born, the prophet Zechariah told us that he would ride into Jerusalem on a donkey. How could he have known that would happen?
Day 3:
Why did most people shout praises to Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem?
Day 4:
As a family, watch God’s Story: Palm Sunday. Then ask: Why do you think Jesus cried when he realized that some people didn’t believe he’s the rescuer and king?
Day 5:
People in Jerusalem praised Jesus by waving palm branches. See if you can come up with ten ways to worship Jesus as king. Then try one out!
