Ask kids to tell you about the story they heard this weekend (you can always find out what they heard at CrossroadsKidsClub.net/weekend). Did God ask the person in the story to do something hard or easy? Do you think obeying is hard or easy? Why?

Why does God want us to obey?
Summer Family Challenge: For fun, you could plan an “obedience walk.” Choose a space to walk in––might be at a nearby park, down your street or even in a bedroom at home. Get a penny and flip it. If it’s heads, go LEFT; if it’s tails, go RIGHT. Walk 10 steps in the correct direction. Then flip again! Obey the penny as long as you want to, and see where you end up. Show other families what happened on Instagram (#wearekidsclub).
