This week, kids in kindergarten through 5th grade heard about how Jesus drove a demon out of a man, and completely healed him! It may seem like a strange story at first, but it actually shows us just how powerful Jesus is!

Here’s a brand new Kids’ Club video that’s all about how WE can be brave, because we have a powerful God who helps us do anything!

Read Mark 5:1-20 as a family, and then talk about how Jesus healed the man who was possessed. Was he hurting on the inside, or the outside? How did Jesus show his power and defeat the enemy?

Think of one way we need Jesus to help us fight the enemy. (It could be a wrong choice they’re having trouble with, something hard or scary they’re going through, etc.) Then, write/draw it inside the shape of a shield. Cut it out and hang it up somewhere to remind you that Jesus will ALWAYS defeat our enemy.
