This weekend was an epic, jam-packed event! Kids in Twos through fifth grade heard about the battle of David and Goliath, and how God helped David do something that seemed impossible! Check out this video to see what happened.

Read this verse together: I Samuel 17:45 “You are coming to fight against me with a sword, a spear and a javelin. But I’m coming against you in the name of the LORD who rules over all. He is the God of the armies of Israel. He’s the one you have dared to fight against.” Come up with some motions to help your family remember the verse. You could also write it down and stick it on the fridge, in the car or on the bathroom mirror!

We are all beloved children of a king, and that king is God! Listen to this song and hear some more about how important you are to Him.

What’s something big that you need help with? Do you think God could help you do it, just like he helped David? Ask him right now, and remember that no matter what we face, he will always be with us.
