Kindergarteners through fifth graders are kicking off a series called “Can You Believe It?!” We’re finding out just a few of the incredible things God did in the Bible. Ask your kids what amazing thing God did in today’s story. (Preschoolers don’t have a series, but they heard about something crazy God did, too.)

When we see God’s power, we understand we can hope in him. Watch the music video below together, then ask: What does it mean to hope in God?

During August, kids will memorize Proverbs 3:5-6. Practice it now for a head start: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
