When we meet God, we find comfort. Watch this video about Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and try to figure out how he gave comfort to people who needed it.

Jesus didn’t just preach about loving others, he went out and did it! Read more about it in Matthew 8. How did Jesus bring comfort to people who were sick? How did he comfort his friends when there was a big storm?

We all get scared or worried sometimes, but Jesus tells us that he will always be with us no matter what. What way do you need comfort from Jesus right now? How could you go to Jesus for help the next time you feel afraid or worried?

Watch this music video, and sing about how we can follow Jesus and do like he does!

We can give comfort to others, just like Jesus does for us. As a family, think of some people you know who need comforting, and brainstorm some ways to show them love. Write their name/s on some sticky notes, and put them in a place you’ll see often!
