Matthew 1:18-24 tells us how Mary’s fiance Joseph responded when he heard Mary was expecting a baby that wasn’t his. You can watch this video about it, too. Joseph could probably imagine what people would say about him when the news got out. God had other plans though, and obeying God meant Joseph had to be brave.
