1 What do you think it would be like to be a kid who was also the king?
2 Josiah wanted the people to follow God’s word. If you were king, what would you want to encourage people to do?
3 Josiah knew that if we want to follow God’s ways we have to know God’s word. Read these verses, talk about what you think the verses mean and then take a few minutes to memorize one (or both) of them together:
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105
