Jesus’ birth created a lot of excitement. When Mary noticed the joy her baby brought to others, Luke 2:15-20 tells us she kept it in her heart and thought about it often. Maybe Mary wanted to remember the miracles when she was having a bad day.
We can do the same thing with God’s word. If you’re up for a challenge, memorize Joshua 1:9, a verse that reminds us that God will be with us no matter what and can encourage us when we have bad days. Practice it out loud together or sing out loud to the song below until everyone knows all the words. You could even turn it into a game like these kids!
