In Isaiah 9:2, the prophet Isaiah said the Rescuer would be a “great light” in a dark world. Wherever you are, turn off all the lights and make it as dark as possible with only a flashlight (or the glow of your cell phone) for light. Then ask: What do you think Isaiah meant when he called Jesus a light?
Christmas lights reflect the light that Jesus is to the world. When you see light displays on TV or in your area (like this local Cincinnati home!), notice the lights and remember to thank Jesus for coming to the world.
