Why do we give?
The generosity of everyday followers of Jesus fuels everything that happens at Crossroads. And since anyone can follow Jesus, no matter their age, that includes kids! After all, Jesus gave us everything he had. We follow his lead.

Here are just three things the Bible says about giving (it says other stuff, too):

- It doesn’t matter if you don’t have much money. Read Luke 21:1-4 together. Then ask: Why did Jesus say the poor woman put in more than anyone else?

- We give out of obedience. Read Malachi 3:10 together. God commands us to give a portion of our money, so we do it. Sounds simple, right? But why is it sometimes hard to obey God by being generous with our money.

- We give out of love. Read 2 Corinthians 9:7 together. Why does God love a cheerful giver?
