It’s easy to focus on behavior, especially challenging behavior. But in trying to control behavior, we can forget to “tend to the roots” of that behavior, which is what God says about who we are. When we focus on the truth about our kid’s identity, we can have a positive effect on their self-image as well as their behavior.
